I’m Tim Taylor — the guy behind this fishy little corner of the internet. A lifelong fan of puns and all things gloriously dumb.
Ever since I can remember, I’ve been obsessed with humor. I watched, studied, and (sometimes badly) imitated all kinds of comedy. I wrote jokes. I scribbled silly stories. I tried to make people laugh — even if it meant embarrassing myself. Repeatedly.
My pun story began when I was a kid and saw a bottle of cod liver oil.
I looked at it and exclaimed:
“Oh my Cod!” (yes, now you know — it was me who created this pun).
It hit me like a tuna truck. My mom laughed. I laughed. The fish did not laugh (classic fish).
I repeated that pun a hundred more times. My mom stopped laughing.
But it was too late.
A pun addict was born.
This site?
I built it myself, purely out of love — love for fish puns, for silliness, for absurdity.
Because honestly, there just aren’t enough fish puns in our lives.
We need more.
They’re stupid. They’re ridiculous.
They’re perfect.
In a world that’s often too serious, too dark, too heavy — I truly believe we all need a little more light, absurd humor just to stay afloat. 🐟
